Roadtrip to Toronto
Dear Diary Readers,
I know I've been away on vacation for a couple weeks, but I had a wonderful time. The first part of my trip was going to Toronto for 3 days with family. We hadn't been to Canada since 2016, back then we had gone to Montreal. Toronto was a great city and we were able to see quite a few things in only three days.
On every trip, we normally like to go to at least one aquarium or a zoo. In this case, we decided to head to Ripley's Aquarium of Canada. There were some nice animals to look at, like the fish and coral. For getting souvenirs, they had two gift shops, one that was smaller while the other one was a bigger store. The only negative was that tickets were expensive and there weren't too many exhibits in the aquarium to make it worth the price.
Museums are another favorite activity of ours, so we went to Royal Ontario Museum. There were exhibits on art, world culture, and natural history. Anyone could spend hours walking around and there would still be plenty to see. Pricing at this place was decent so it made it worth us spending money on admission.
The last major thing we did was go to St Lawrence Market. It's an indoor market in a large brick building. There are a variety of shops, including souvenir stands to buy items. Also, there's plenty of food stands where you will be able to eat different types off cuisines. We went to a crepe stand to eat a fresh crepe and a juice/smoothie stand to get our drink.
Toronto was such a cool, Canadian city that I would love to visit again one day. I'll talk about part two of my trip next week!
Sincerely,
Jasmine
